Passive Voice

             










                 A sentence can be either in the active or passive voice . In a “active” sentence , the subject perform the action. In a “passive” sentence , the subject receives the action to make an active sentence, into a passive sentence, follow there steps .

1) Place the complement of the active sentence at the beginning of the passive sentence.
2) If there are any auxiliary in the active sentence,place the immediately after the new subject agreeing in number with the subject.
3) Insert the verb be after the auxiliary of aux in the same from as the main verb in active sentence
4) Place the main verb from the active sentence after the auxiliary and be in the past participle.
5) place the subject or the active sentence after the verb in the passive sentence proceded by the preposition by ( this can be eliminated completely if it is hot important or is understood )

1) Past Perfect Tense

Active Voice
Passive Voice
S + had + past participle + direct object
S (direct object) + had + been + past participle +/- by … (agent)

Active :
 He had helped me so many time .

Passive :
I had been helped so many times.

2) Past Future Continuous

S +  Would Be Being + V3

Active :
She would be learning math when you came.

Passive :
Math would be being learned by her when you came.

3) Past Future Tense

S + Would Be + V3

Active :
He would learn English.

Passive :
English would be learned by him.
